Aguahara Level 1&2
February 18 @ 8:00 AM - March 5 @ 5:00 PM UTC-5

From February 18 to March 5, an Aguahara course will take place in Mazunte, on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. This three-module training (Official Aguahara Course – Levels 1 and 2) will be facilitated by Sandra Morell, offering a deep immersion into the art of aquatic therapy.
Limited places – only 8 spots available for new students.
The course will take place in our heated saltwater space, Flor de Agua.
It will be in English and Spanish.
We will learn:
- How to give a complete surface session: opening and relaxation of the body; floating, movements, and stretches.
- Moving and being moved in connection with the bodies, the breath, and the water.
- Session preparation – entering the water – basic position – head support
- The dance of the breath
- Presence, Movement, and Stillness
- Connection and deepening our relationship with the water
- Introduction to the underwater experience
- First immersions (module 2) and underwater movements and silences (module 3)
The intention of this course is to create a space for learning and exploration of the water and ourselves.
Its aim is not only to teach the techniques behind this work, but also to offer a deep experiential understanding of the potential that exists when being in the water.
The training will include practical sessions in the water, as well as a theoretical component through talks and activities outside the water.
Early bird price available until December 31.
