Aguahara Level 1&2 in Mazunte

From November 18 until Dicember 3, an Aguahara course will take place in Mazunte, on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. This three-module training (Official Aguahara Course Levels 1 & 2) will be facilitated by Sandra Morell, offering a deep immersion into the art of aquatic therapy.

Limited spots — only 8 places available for new students.

The course will be held in English and Spanish.

The training will take place in our heated saltwater pool space, Flor de Agua.

Module 1:  18-21 November
Module 2: 24-27 November
Module 3: 30 Nov – 3 Dicember

We will learn:

• How to give a full session on the surface: opening and relaxing the body; floating, movement, and stretching

• Moving and being moved in connection with the bodies, the breath, and the water

• Session preparation – entering the water – basic position – head support

• The dance of breath

• Presence, movement, and stillness

• Connection and deepening our relationship with the water

• Introduction to the underwater experience

• First immersions (Module 2) and underwater movement and silence (Module 3)

The intention of this course is to create a space for learning and exploration of the water and of ourselves.
It aims not only to teach the techniques behind this work, but also to offer a deep experiential understanding of the potential that exists when being in the water.

The training will include practical sessions in the water, as well as a theoretical part through talks and activities outside the water.
